Chopsticks Business

Companies - including Chinese, British and multinational - are finding it increasingly difficult to attract, hire and, importantly, retain employees with China-related skills. Recognising this need, Chopsticks Club's latest and unique initiative was a China-skills Recruitment Fair held on 29 June 2011. This event was kindly sponsored by Shell plc and hosted by Mayer Brown International LLP. For details of this event CLICK HERE for JOB VACANCIES.

The Chopsticks Club is recognised for the value it adds in helping companies to network and promote their China credentials.

The 'Dialogue with the Ambassador' event in October 2010 was a "superb" networking event bringing together 150 senior executives at the prestigious Royal Society in London. The aim was to provide a platform for open discussion between guests and the Ambassador.

Ambassador Liu Xiaoming was the guest of honour and spoke highly of the Chopsticks Club, its value in promoting dialogue and exchange between Britain and China and how our two countries should find more ways to understand our respective cultures symbolised so clearly through chopsticks and knives and forks.

Our main sponsors were Grant Thornton and Albany China.
